Have you looked around for the chickens? They could've just found somewhere that like to roost. Maybe?

Yes we spent all weekend calling and looking for them.

Nope, no feathers. we figured they wandered too far away and by now something got them...

That's where I'm having difficulties, finding a breeder around here that has chicks available.

I know tsc has a six limit minimum. I would search on this thread. You may luck up. Criagslist too.

You could look on craigslist. .if no chickens are for sale..maybe someone that sells eggs..ask them if they have a few hens to sell.
