New and need help with ID

I have 9 chicks that are about 7 weeks old. I think I have figured out what some of them are but I'd appreciate verification for those and help with ID on the others. They were purchased through tractor supply and came from hoovers hatchery. Thanks for your thoughts!


Image 1: I think this is a columbian wyandotte hen.

Image 2: white crested black polish, hen

Image 3: unknown white chick, was a gray and yellow chick. Might be a rooster? Its bigger and thicker than all of the other chicks.

Image 4: golden laced wyandotte, hopefully a hen

Image 5: golden laced wyandotte, I fear a rooster

Image 6: the 2 golden laced wyandotte together for comparison.

Image 7: no idea what breed or sex. Was a chipmunk colored chick.

Image 8: same chick as in pic 7

Image 9: no idea what breed or sex but very similar to the chick in pic 7 and 8.

Image 10: red. Has a bigger comb, but not red. Maybe a red sex link? Hopefully a hen but I'm not confident.

I agree 1 could be Colombian Wyandotte. Wondering if 3 could be an Orpington....maybe lavender! Look at the feet...the chick you described would fit this as well as explain size. I think it’s a pullet. Image 7 leaning towards a Welsummer?
I think 10 is a starlight green egger and I think it looks like a pullet. I’m not an expert but hopefully this helps! I went to Hoover hatchery and looked at the rare breeds they offer listed on their website.

image 3 is definitely a hen - mine looks identical and she is the product of two red sex links... and could be a canadian chantecler or just a cross breed.

EDIT: image 4, 5 and 6 either your right - or they are both roo's. I'm leaning toward them both being roo's.
Images 7, 8,9 and 10 looks like hens to me.

7 and 8 look like the only cockerels. I agree with all your breed guesses and you're right about 10 being a red sex link. 7-9 are throwing me for a loop. I looked through their website a bit and am still unsure. The fact that there's three that look similar is even stranger, so it's not like a genetic throw. They have Chanteclers in both partridge and buff. Perhaps they run together and they're a mix of the varieties?? This would be assuming that a rose comb instead of a cushion comb is the norm for Hoover which seems strange too. My guess however that they may be Cinnamon Queens, even though the picture shows them having a single comb. They were created with Silver Laced Wyandottes and RIR and since rose combs are dominant, that would explain the comb. What comb does your white chick have?

The solid white has what I believe is a single comb. Its very short.

1: what kind of comb does she have?
3: Easter egger
7+8+9: red sex links (sometimes wyandottes are used in the cross, giving them rose combs)
10: red sex link
