The neighbor's beautiful oak tree went from a majestic red coat of fall leaves to a barren winter trunk in less than 24 hours. It's currently a balmy 49 degrees.

49 degrees?? It "cooled off" today and it's 94 degrees at 3:57 pm. I'll have to say I like it this way better than cold and snowy winters though.
 
Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western N.C. it's cold here already getting into the 30's at night only 50 for a high today, Chickens are so wonderful you'll get so attached you'll want more and ducks and geese and well you' find out lol
