My chicks and poults from cackle arrived this morning!
One polish chick was pretty sluggish and not looking great(extra chick) but perked right up after warming up.

French black tailed red marans

Sadly one female marans had webbed toes on both feet.

After watching a video shared on another thread I decided to go ahead and snip the skin.
I’ll add a spoiler for those that don’t want to see blood. I apologize if the spoiler isn’t working.

All bandaged up.

I tried to do my best to keep the toes apart so they don’t fuse back together. Hopefully the crooked toe straightens out.

There is hardly any blood in the picture. You really have to look for it. I wouldn't worry about it. Hope your little chick heals soon and thrives.

I wouldn’t worry about the blood. It’s basically unnoticeable.

Thanks guys I just know some of my family can’t stand even the slightest blood I wasn’t sure how well it would be received here.

I’m happy to report everyone is doing amazing! My little project girl is healing nicely. Some pictures from taking the bandaids off this morning.

I really hope that toe will straighten more. But other then that I think she should be a lot more comfortable from here on out.
