HI I was giving 3 baby rouen ducklings. I am very attached to them all ready. They are 2 weeks old and only one is making a whistle noise. I have been doing a lot of reading on them. And 2 are way bigger then the other. I am really excited to find out if they are male or female. Could someone please let me know how to tell I am pretty sure I have to wait longer.

And with ours by 6-7 weeks the girls quacks were starting and they were much louder. The ones that kept peeping the longest ended up the males :)

Yeah, they will generally start quacking at 7 to 8 weeks old......Hens Quack and Drakes sound like they lost their voice.....Raspy......The drake feathers will come in once they lose the first set of feathers at around 3 or 4 months old......

Cheers!

Thank you everyone for your info it is very helpful. It's so awesome to watch them all 3 have different personalities. The biggest one is the talker, the middle one is the nosy one gets into everything and the smallest is just shy and very quiet.
