Hi and

from Ohio. So glad you joined. I see you found out what chicken math is all about.

I just looked up chicken math and yes, I in fact practice chicken math. I LOVE that there is a name for it!!!! I'll have to tell my land lords (A.K.A. my parents) about this and that I am not the only one. Yesterday my dad came by while my husband was working on the coop. He asked why such a big coop for only 6 chickens (he had a smirk on his face knowing darned well that I had exceeded the agreed upon 6 chickens only). Fortunately my dad grew up with chickens and is very fond of them. Shortly after my dad asked about the number of chickens, my 11 year old brought the "kids" out to play. They were flapping and bouncing all over in celebration of being out of the house for the first time in two days. My dad was cracking up.
We'll see how well the 6 indian runners go over in a month when we get those!! SURPRISE!!!! Lol!
