Ok,I am building this for a pair of Wood Ducks I ordered.I was gonna post in the Duck section,but I thought some of Ya'll could use this for chickens to stop the hawks.So far I have spent $120 at Home Depot.The corner brackets were $5 each,the lil corner brackets were .75c & the splice brackets were $5.Box of screws were $8. Then I bought 30 treated 2x4 & they were $2 each. I am gonna cover it in Poultry Netting I found on ebay.I expect to have under $200 total. I got a late start today,but will be working on it tomorrow.In between stuffin my face! It is gonna be 16x16x8 tall.I can add to it easy later when I save me some more cash.I told my ducks & they said "Cool" so long as I promise to make it bigger later.I promised em! Im not worried about preditors with the netting.You see my boy in the pics on guard.
