Ok now to convince my parents to let me build that big! As for hiding spots I have a ground box for them what other hiding spots should I have?

Have a lot of perches for sure. I like adding logs and tree stumps. You can put in an old christmas tree like Tony does. If you ask this in the pheasant thread I am sure you will get lots of good ideas.

True I will add logs. What are some good plants for them to hide in?

I'm hopefully gonna plant some Pompous grass with them but I wanna have Ringed Teals and other teals in there.

I am attempting to grow a running bamboo. I can see the running roots, but I guess the birds eat the new shoots??? I am hoping it will grow nicely this year. My duck aviary is a muddy mess. I have pampas grass, a black currant bush, bamboo, and some random bushes which are hardly surviving...
