New babies but no idea of the breed or sex

I’m going to guess;

Mixed breed (Brahma and something else maybe?) And Cockerel.

Not for anything they are showing, but for how they were found. I suspect someone’s hen hatched a bunch of chicks and they tried to throw out all the boys.

/or they tried to throw out the whole clutch because they weren’t prepared for that chicken math. Either way, very cruel and irresponsible.

Best of luck with the new babies and definitely post update pictures as they grow! I wanna see what these chicks turn into.

Straight comb, feathered feet....not light brahmas (they have a smoky undertone to the down, no spots), French white marans or white cochins are possibilities.

Hi everyone here’s a update 0n the Black bag chicks, all doing fine they have more than doubled in size and at around six weeks old they have out grown a second prop and have moved into a third, still no idea what make they are or if they are boys or girls but here some pics . They all have feathered legs now and the colours seem to be white, so thank full for any guesses.

They look a lot like my California White/ Cochin mix. I believe you have 2 cockerels (boys) and a pullet (girl). In the next update if you will include a close up of the faces of each bird. That will help to get a better guess.
You are doing a great job!! They look like they are growing very well. 😁 Gorgeous Teens. 😉

Personally I'm not seeing anything that screams boy on any of them yet. But they mag be just a bit young yet for the secondary sex characteristics to start showing

Oh and I was doing some research on my Black Copper Marans today and found this post on some Splash French Marans with feathered legs. Well actually the post had black copper marans and this beauty. This is most likely what you have.. I forgot about the Splash Marans. Very beautiful bird! This is my first batch of Marans that I am raising right now. Very docile birds!! The patient that gave these to me has had them for over 30 years and she told me that Marans are the the sweetest best Roosters that she has had. I hope im wrong and seeing things that aren't there so you can keep all 3 of your children. 🙏🤞😉
