What do your facilities look like? How much room do you have in the coop? How much room do you have in the run? Do you free range? Do you have a photo showing your coop and run together and a photo showing how the inside of your coop is laid out? To me, what you are working with is extremely important to how I suggest you approach this. With you only having two adults I'm concerned your facilities may be fairly small. The more room you have the better.

Predator protection was a different issue but integration was a piece of cake. How much room you have does matter. I don't have that much room so I can't use his technique.
