Here are some pics of my newest babies!!! They hatched out this morning/afternoon! No incubator, my broody girl did a perfect job
The babies are EE/frizzle & cochin/frizzle. Out of 12 eggs, only 7 made it here in one piece, so I wasn't expecting much out of the ones that did make it, but we got these 3 little fluff balls, and one was pipping when I came in tonight! This is the very first time I've gotten hatching eggs, and it DEFINITELY won't be the last!!!!
the yellow chick is the biggest, and "she" has brown spots on her head and down her back. The next one I think might be a blue, and is definitely a cochin frizzle - loads of feathering down her legs (looks greyish black in the pics but in person she's got a blue look to her). The last is a super tiny little EE frizzle (at least that's what I'm thinking). She has a partridge coloration to her... Matches my new silkie very well
