Tractor Supply is supposed to get their chicks on the 28th. A man there told me to check Monday because he has a "feeling" they may be there then. So, in my chicken addled mind, I hear "chicks here Monday" only.
The brooder is set up, the kids are totally stoked, we are ready for babies. We are only getting 3 (one for each of my kids). The 10 y/o wants a Silkie, the 8 y/o a Polish, and the 6 y/o a chicken (his should be easy to accomodate). I am wishing away my weekend!!!
