Yeah we don't get many of those here because it's so hot but I really don't want another Roo and that I have no idea if any look like possible. The brown chipmunk one could be a LOT of things... At this age it's not really easy to tell them apart. I'm gonna guess Welsummer cause the common from feedstores, but update us in a few weeks!!
Congratulations on your chicks. You will not be able to tell gender on any of them until they are at least six weeks old.Yeah we don't get many of those here because it's so hot but I really don't want another Roo and that I have no idea if any look like possible.
Here ya go! And ty!Can you get some photos of them in natural light? If you didn't get the Ameraucana from a breeder, then it's an Easter Egger : D
Yes I'm aware I have had hens for most of my life, however in Georgia they were for my sons FFA and I didn't get too involved except to feed, clean, help. But now it's me as "The Chicken Tender!" Or "Chicken Whisperer" as my family calls me Lol! Some breeds I have now, couldn't take freezing weather in North Georgia mountains Appalachian trail area, so learning new stuff!Congratulations on your chicks. You will not be able to tell gender on any of them until they are at least six weeks old.
What is the black and spotted one.
Also for breeds I'm thinking Speckled Sussex is more likely instead of Welsummer and then a Silver Laced Wyandotte and Gold Laced Sebright
I see no true Ameraucanas. Only bearded chick is a non-standardized color. Individual pics in natural lighting would be very helpful, but what I think I see is an Easter Egger, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Welsummer potentially, and a Silver (or gold, hard to tell with the lighting) Sebright
She's an Easter Egger! Very cute though! This is Penelope my Ameraucana
