Here are some pics of the birds that hatched while I was at training for a week. My DH did a great job! I have some of my own silkies, some mixes from my birds (I did not have them separated yet) and some eggs I got from Jaynie and Dipsy.
First up is a group picture, don't you love how they all run for the corner when you try to get a picture?
And another group pic:
This little buff of Jaynies had a great vault but unfortunately never did thrive and died after a couple of days. Very tragic.
More of Jaynies, two blue/black (more nice vaults and feet)
Here is a close up of one of those two. I got three in all from hers. Not many, but I was not here, so happy to get any.
Here is a white? one from Dipsy (very nice looking and very sturdy)
All the silkies that hatched are in this photo except for the buff that died. I labled whose is whose.
Another one of the silkies:
Here are the serama x sizzle babies, one has curled feathers. Too funny.
Another one of them, they are too cute.
Here are some of my bantam cochins: (one of the white ones died today for no apparent reason?
And the barred rock x silkie mixes:
Will try to get updated pics soon. They are growing so fast. And I have another batch of Dipsy's to go into the hatcher Sunday and will hatch next week while I am gone again. Boy did I not plan very well. Will keep you posted on those as well. Oh and of course there are more of mine in there. I just could not waste them, right?
