I just got some ducklings! We have bantams and decided to raise some ducks also. I got these three from Atwood’s, and am planning on getting two more tomorrow.
Any ideas on what breed they may be? I was thinking maybe the 2 brown ones are Khaki Campbell?

They are adorable! The brown one should be a khaki Campbell. I think the other one has a big and looks blue in color. Hard to tell. It would be a blue swedish if it has that bib.

The yellow one, looks like it is going to be a fawn and white runner. The posture will confirm that. Sometimes they stand straight right away, and others times it take a week. Yellow ducklings can sometimes be harder to identify.

I was just noticing the blue tint when I went to check on them! Did a bit of a double take lol! Oohhh I would love it if the yellow is an Indian Runner! I love them all though, so precious!
Thank you for your response!!

Those subtle colors can be hard to tell sometimes even in person. That color pattern definitely reminds me of a fawn and white. It should have blue eyes too.

They are absolutely precious! Enjoy while they are small. They grow sooo fast!

Oh my, what beautiful little fuzz balls! Although the yellow one looks like someone punched it in the eye! But in a cute way!

I barely remember mine from when they were that small. Quatie is right, they grow quick. The three survivors of this year's hatch of Cayuga mixes are now looking like adults and acting like it. Or at least they think they are. Darn teenagers!

Hahahaha it really does, it almost looks like it’s giving me some stink eye lol!
I’m trying to take lots of pictures of them so my kids can see how they change and grow and look back at how they looked now.
Ohhh I want some Cayugas at some point, they’re so pretty! And they act like teens, how funny! A couple of my chickens were the same. My roo and my OEGB hen was a real stink.

Maybe you should name it Rocky! :D

I do that with all of mine. I've had to start making folders with dates on them because I take so many pictures every day.

I was crouched down giving scritches to some of my Muscovy, and one of the Cayuga pinched my butt! When I turned around, she just gave me a "Wut?" look. Yup, teens.

They are a lovely breed. The way the feathers catch the light with beautiful blue and green iridescence is simply gorgeous. They tend to be a bit aloof, even when hand-raised, but all of mine are quite friendly (apart from goosing me, that is!).

I never take enough pictures when they are little. I always look back and wonder where all the pictures are. Which is not entirely bad, because I am spending so much time with them and forget to take pictures.

Cayugas are a lot of fun. They have been my most social ducklings up till now. My call ducks are way more social than the cayugas were. The Cayuga have stayed pretty social for me. I do love how they whiten overtime. It is really beautiful.

She pinched your butt?! Oh my gosh that’s hysterical! I’m so excited to see their personalities come out!
