Those three brown striped ones look like EE's to me...but I'm no expert. Also, I think those are barred rocks cuz they have the white dot there on the head for females I'm told. We have both. Our EE's looked like yours, but our barred rocks were older when we got them.
The black babies look like my two Barred Plymouth Rocks, but I am far from an expert on the subject. My other one is supposedly an Ameraucana, but I question whether she may be an Easter Egger. Any ideas?
I'd be super excited if one was a black australorp, I had hoped for one of those, but there were problems with the feed store's supplier. My girls are doing well, and are 5 days old now! (Man, they grow fast!!!) I have been stressed that something may be wrong with them, but I think its my anxiety, not clues from them. THey are eating well, drinking like crazy and settle down all over the brooder, so it must not be too hot/cold. This is a big adventure! We're loving it, though... Gotta work on the insulated dog house we're converting into the coop next.
My daughter named them: The RIR is Princess, the barred rock is Linders, the australorp(I hope!) is Lovey, and the three EEs are Popcorn, Tinkerbell and James. She's five, and came up with the names all on her own. I am VERY much hoping for all Pullets, but my daughter seems to have a sixth sense about some things, and so James could very well be a roo.
id say you have a barred rock (white head dot), a black australorp (black beak) a RIR, and the stripey ones are probbaly EE's...but they could also be speckled sussex.
