New Babies!!

No idea on the colours. The boy (I guess he was about 15?) was only hatching for hatching purposes. He wasn't looking for colours. Although he kept several back, I think he said something about Lavendars?? not sure. I would have taken more, but things didn't work out that way. I can't wait for them to feather out!

They will alot faster than most of us want them too. They don't stay tiny for long. Do you know basic care if not i can give you a link.

A link would be good. I raised them a couple of years ago, but I think I've forgotten everything! The have two 100 lights on them, because I didn't think it was warm enough. They lay under them, but they do move around as well, so I think the temp is okay. I don't have a thermometer to indicate the temp, but judging by the way they are moving, it should be okay. They are on duck starter and I do have a waterer in with them-on a plastic tray. They are already getting a little easier to handle. I want to keep a few back, for breeding, so I hope my little one turns out pretty. She's the smallest and is grey and yellow. In the last pic she is off to the left. I didn't think she would make it. When I got her home, she was really wobbly, falling over, head wouldn't stay up. I think the boy just had them a little too cold. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! I think they go out at about 3.5 weeks? I have a pen about 20x30 with a duck house in it, but I think I'll have to make both bigger.

I don't know about lavender but some white, maybe chocolate, and others. Some interesting markings on the scovies and the rouens are cute. Hardest but most interesting thing about muscovy, they change so much in their coloring during the first year.
