I don't have any questions, just excitement!
This is my first time hatching. I started with 78 eggs. After pulling out a few bad ones (red rings, cracked, weeping) and the clears; I went into lock down with 44 eggs.
I haven't had any way to measure the humidity, so that was all guess work. And two days ago my great-nephew TURNED OFF the incubator!!! They dropped to 80F. I don't know how long they were like that. I was sure that I would lose them.
15 of them hatched yesterday (day 20), and 4 more so far today. I have 7 that have pipped and are working at it. Another 18 that aren't showing signs of anything yet.
I've found myself sitting at the incubator for hours just watching the babies hatch. Who knew how much fun this would be?
Thanks to everyone that answered any of my earlier questions, you are all a great help. I'm sure I'll have more as they start to grow.
