Hey guys!! Last night I got 7 straight run assorted bantams at tractor supply and a duck! I have a brown chick that's got stripes and is getting feathers on it's feet. Any idea if what It can be? I can post pics after work! Thanks!

I'm not sure if you are asking the breed of this one but it is very likely a Black Swedish.

When it comes to figuring out if "older" chicken is hen or rooster, why couldnt you just see if the chicken has a vent or not? Roosters dont have vents.......do they?

All chickens have a vent. It takes training and experience to be able to vent sex a chicken.

A vent is what most people think of as a ********. They all have one of those!
