New Baby Chick Mom :-) in Texas (Hot Hot Hot!!!)

Hello! I am a portrait artist in the great state of Texas! A couple years ago I had chicks for portraits and now I have baby chicks that will be our egg laying buds! They are currently in my studio and I adore them!!! They know my voice and I have two (Baby Girl and Henny Penny) that like to perch on my arm. I have learned so much when it comes to chicken phrases (pecking order, chicken brain, chicken scratch, fowl mood LOL). I had a friend who is looking into having chickens recommend this site. I will be searching for help with acclimating our chicks to the 100+ degree weather from my studio which with windows open and our heat lamp is only hitting around 80 degrees.
