New Baby Ducklings; they sleep a lot is that normal?

Hello!
I just got two baby ducklings and they're just absolutely adorable! The one with fuzzy feather on it's head name is Psyduck and the little one name is Ducklett, yes Pokemon names. This is my first time raising them, my boyfriend used to raise ducks a few years ago.

Is it normal they sleep a lot? They are eating, drinking, pooping, chirping, and running around. I've noticed they preferred the shade area away from the light huddled together, are they too hot? It is cold so I'm trying to make sure that they get warmth. Thank you in advance for the help!

Do you have them set up in a brooder? Do you know the temp? Heat lamp should be set up on one side so they can have a warm side and a cooler side. Temp on warm side should be around 85 and dropped 5 degree each week there after.
