Thank you everybody, I am sure enjoying them. I just took them outside for a bit and all the other animals wanted to come take a look, the guineas,chickens, and my dog a blue healer. I think if my horse would have been out she would have came over to see to, she is really nosy. Well the way they all acted I think there all a little on the nosy side. Isn't it great I just love animals all kinds except snakes and we have had a few of them around here. I am from California and we moved out here going on four years now but we didn't have poisonous snakes were we lived. Northern Cali. a small town called Arcata. I know people call Northern Cali the bay area but it is a long way from there about a five hour drive. Anyway thanks to all of you.
Congrats to you Latkt13 on your new babies they are beautiful as well.

There very first bath and boy did they like it

here are my new babies, I still have to pick a name! I think they must have picked the fuzz of of each other on there trip because they both have a bare back. They are just so sweet

I am new to geese so I don't really know. I thought that mine were doing it in the box because they were so close but they are doing it here to. Maybe somone else will post and let us know what to do about it. Tomarrow I will try and keep them busy to see if that helps and if its warm will take them outside more. I guess if they keep it up I will have to make them a shirt to cove the bald spot Lol

Aww they are so sweet I haven't named mine yet either I'm waiting to see once they are a little bigger... right now they look too much alike! lol I figure I will know once I start to see their personality a little more too its exciting I am thinking I am going to take pictures weekly to see how mine change. Love to see how yours do too if you take pics too

when bored goslings chew............it drives us all nuts. Lots of greens to chew on, lots of space, lots of toys to chew on. You can spray items like bitter apple or blukote on them to help discourage. Sometimes you get one who will chew/nibble no matter what you do.

Well I have names for the babies my DH named the little boy Gus and I named the little girl miss Lilly. These little gosling are growing fast little Gus already has the fat between his legs. Miss Lucy is a little younger so will be a little while before she gets hers unless girls are slower then boys. I made them a little shirt to cover there backs to keep them from picking each other and left it on for a few days and it has seemed to help. They are just the cutest little things in the world. I am so happy that I decided to order them, I just love it when they follow you around like your there mother. They just love to eat I am feeding them asparagus out of the garden and they just love it, spoiled rotten already. I also let them eat grass out in the field when we go for walks took them in the garden yesterday and let the eat the new grass that is coming up around the garden beds.

I have pics of the little shirts that I made but it is so hard to post pics because I don't have a smart phone and I have to put them on my desktop into one file then transfer them to another to be able to post, but will try a little later this evening. I just took Gus and Miss Lilly for a walk out to the garden and was sitting there just looking at them in wonder and low and behold Miss Lilly has just a little bit of fat between her legs also. Looks like she isn't going to be much behind Mr Gus. Sorry about the name I'm having a hard time remembering her name not Lucy but Miss Lilly
