New bantams. What kind?

Marshmallow is a Light Brahma Bantam. Never mind. Just realized it says not feathered legs. Looks just like mine did at that age otherwise.

For a second after seeing that picture I thought thats what it was too, then remembered he\she didnt have feathered feet. I love Brahmas. Great birds.

Why didnt you like them? I was thinking about getting some.

They don't seem as predator savvy, which is an issue since I free range a lot. I think part of it is their stiff foot and leg feathers made it hard for them to run in the grass and mine didn't seem to want to fly. Their personalities are "okay" but I like my OEGBs and bantam cochins much better. I do really like the Golden Neck d'Uccles, though.

Ah okay. I may still end up getting a few one day. We did pick up what we are think bantam Cochins. I'll post some pictures later and maybe you can confirm?

Mine are 5 weeks old now and you can tell who is definitely a boy, who is almost definitely a girl (no comb development at all), and then a few are in between (getting combs but they aren't red).

I looked really close today and I think I have 2 roos and 3 hens, but I am not positive. Can you post a pic of your roos sobI have something to compare it too?
