New bantams

I have to stay out of Tractor Supply. I went in to buy laying crumbles and bought six bantams for my wife. I already have nine chicks that I hatched out and have five more eggs under a Cochin. Insanity rules.

I have 24 chicks in the brooder and ten eggs under a broody due to hatch next Monday. Lol. I keep telling myself it's not that bad because surely at least half of them will be roosters and I don't need to keep anymore roosters.

That is true about the roosters.

It's nuts. By the time they get old enough I can tell who is a rooster... I'm attached to them. Lol. They're so hard to part with at that point.
