new bantams

First time with my dream chickens, old english game bantams.

Is their care any different from other baby chicken care? They kinda cute but really fragile.


I got 3 dutches and 1 duckwing.

Will they lay eggs by this summer or will they have to overwinter without laying? its May now and it gets cold in mid-september here.

what is their temperament / are they cold hardy? Do they get broody aand are they good for breeding?

Also, what is their loudness? Ive owned RIRs and plymouths and they threw a racket in the morning. Ive watched videos of bantams crowing and clucking, and its seems to be much more high-pitched and somewhat quieter than big fowl. Can the same be said for these old english game bantams? Compared to a sassy pekin duck, how loud would an old english games´ egg song be?
