New Bantum Cochins Sneezing

Okay - I've been combing the threads and now am quite concerned about my two new Bantum cochins. I got them last weekend from a local hatchery, along with two Silkie chicks and another Bantum Cochin. Everyone else is fine, but these two came in sneezing. I'm new to chickens, though I've had birds before so immediately thought of warmth, dry, and isolation. After talking with the hatchery - who says they have no problem with the other chickens that were in the same area - I've taken a proactive, though maybe incomplete, approach.

I started with apple cider vinegar in fresh water 2x per day and we picked up some VetRx which contains 3.3% Alcohol, camphor oil and other things. I know its not an antibiotic for the underlying, but I thought it would help. I've been administering in their nostrils and down their throat at night. They don't seem to be getting worse, but they are definitely not better. The local feed store says to inject 1cc of penicillan into their breasts - I CAN"T DO THAT! I don't know anything about injecting a bird~!

The hatchery told me to get Durmyacin-10 - can't find any in town. I'm starting to worry about the fact that they may be carriers, and they might infect my flock (which is rather small, but is at this point very healthy and happy). Does anyone have any suggestions on what my next course of action should be. I'm really a chicken newbie.

some people will cull them and other will treat them, cold is bad news for chickens cause it will always a carrier even it have no symtoms still confusing for me why they made medicine for sick birds. Try oxine in the water or tripple sulfa it is easy to inject birds in the breast done it with my turkey tom some breeders will use tylan or baytrill also good luck

Thanks - the culling is hard for me since I'm a vegetarian and couldn't kill anything. I'll see about treating, but boy am I worried about the carrier thing.
