New Barred Rocks

They look like pullets to me, at 15 weeks of age my Barred Rock cockrels have a great deal more comb and are starting to grow wattles. Those girls in your picture don't display any of those signs. I'd say they are most definately pullets. At about eight weeks the cockrels can be told from the pullets just by the comb development alone, with most chickens.

I believe my roo started growing the comb at 7 or 8 weeks also. He is big now. I guess I am just nervous after getting 3 roos and 2 hens last time. That was from TSC though. I didn't know any better then. Live and learn I guess. At least now I know the meaning of straight run
