Day 6 and no more losses! The one with the black mark on his head is my test subject...lol He's not the smallest or the biggest, so we should get a good average from him

He weighed in at 2.3oz this morning.

No losses thru the night and we have a weight of 2.55oz

Soon as they stink up the (freezer) brooder too much...lol

I am hoping they get enough feathers within 3 weeks to get them out. It's not been terribly hot here at all this summer and it's always wicked windy, so I'll have to play it by ear.

Looking good! My meaties are living at Stephanies house, so I can't do the documenting. Still only one loss out of the 85 meaties! Even the rare breed freebie is still kickin'!
