Hi my i am windy. I have had backyard chickens for a little over a year. At this time I have 4 chickens in my flock. One Those Island Red and 3 Blonde chickens, I forgot the whole name. This year a made a homemade incubator and I have stated hatching chicks. So far I have had 6 great hatches and one died after pipping. Then today I had a chick stuck in her shell, so I read some post about what to do if this happens and now she is alive and doing well.
