What breed of dogs? Loads of dog folks on here, trainers, handlers, breeders, judges, field trialers, on and on. I bred & showed Cocker Spaniels, our member penny was a very successful dog handler. Sourland raises and trains field trial Beagles.

Hello Diva, starting late 1970s, I had a colored bull terrier nationally ranked in conformation for a little while; then a couple of nice Italian Greyhound conformation champions; then starting in late 1980s some very nice Irish Water Spaniels that I exhibited successfully in conformation (internationally), obedience, and retriever hunt tests. Every nice dog I got was from a seasoned breeder of great integrity and I was quite satisfied to learn, train, and exhibit rather than breed for myself. I also was Show Chairman for some rather large all-breed shows in southern California, specialty secretary a couple times, and field trial secretary a couple times; enjoyed "management" ha ha ha. Have not been active in dogs since 2004. I'm a biologist at work, and at home, I guess.
