New born duck eyes swollen shut

Hello everyone, very new to this. My baby duck hatched a day ago and his eyes are swollen and shut with goop on the inside, I have washed and soaked them both with warm water but nothing has happened and I just put some saline drops in his eyes.... I don't want to loose my baby and just need some guidance to help the baby out

I echo redsoxs in that the folks on the ER or Duck Forums are going to be your best bet for getting some advice/assistance .. good luck.

Please understand that when you go offline, the ER folks or Duck people are not able to reach you. It would be best to treat his eye early, so no damage is done.

Thanks everyone for the help, I was just getting anxious and worried and took him to the vet and got some ointment for his eye and have to wash it out with saline and a cotton ball.
