New born duck yellow wet poop

From reliable sources they say cold water can shock a newly hatched ducklings system.
She's eating and drinking now? What breed? and what are you feeding? asking because waterfowl babies need a good amount of niacin in their diets while they are growing so fast so we have to supplement it in their diets.

Of course she has imprinted on you you were the first person she saw. ❤️
Do you have more hatching? If not I'd try and find a few friends for your duckling so she knows she is a duck. Be a good idea to put a mirror in with her too so she can have some company.

I think she is a Cayuga and I never knew that , she is eating and drinking the water loads , she has chick crumb and sometimes I give them meal worms which I will give her soon , there is an egg in the incubator in lockdown so hopefully in a few days it will hatch and yeah I will put a mirror in for the time being 😄

She is the cutest little ducky I’ve ever seen , my heart melted , she stares at me sideways which makes me laugh 😂.

Aww they sure can melt a heart they are so precious, That's great she is eating and drinking like a champ.
I use chick crumb too when I have new hatches so you really need to add some type of niacin to her diet. One way and to me the best way is to get some Nutritional yeast and just sprinkle it over her feed, My birds love it. It's chock full of good Niacin. 1 Tablespoon to each cup of feed you offer. They need this until at least 10-12 weeks old.

Try to be patient when this next one hatches. They really do take a long time from internal pip to external pip and zip so just observe and when external pip happens let us know because if the duckling has oxygen after external pip they usually don't need help to hatch and we have to just sit on our hands and wait. But we have experienced hatchers on here who can help if you get worried just don't help too soon. They do so much better if allowed to hatch on their own.
