New breed ‘No crow roosters’

No offense but there's a huge range of purity in what people call Red Junglefowl out there. My own RJF rooster many years ago was of questionable purity, however he sounded quite similar to the RJF in this video-
In a general sense I believe RJF are supposed to look thin and scraggly like this image here, and the more beefy they get the more domestic chicken DNA they're filled with-

Oh my Phoenix boys have similar white stripes on their tails

Mine are San Diego Zoo which are mixed with other Subspecies of Red Junglefowl. But Cackle mixed them with some of their "Standard Old English."(Quaotation Marks as the hatchery actually sells American Gamefowl.

Wait... Their standard OEG are American games? I thought those were mainly just bantam? Why do you think they are American games?

They're dubbed close to their skull, also leg color isn't consistent, some are yellow/green legged. OEG require a half Dub, where half the comb remains, but the blades are removed, also OEG requires only Light/pink shanks, or Slate for certain colors.

No Old English come in the more popular Bantam size, as well as American Gamefowl.

Here's their Crele "Standard Old English". Yellow legs.
Dubbed Close to their Skull.

Found a paper comparing the crows of different populations of red jungle fowl- both in the wild and captive for several generations- with hybrid RJF/domestic populations, and white leghorns, and testing for genetic components.

Full article here, no paywall! :D

For anyone whose eyes start to glaze over at the prospect of reading that wall of text- no shade, it took me a while to get through it even though I was outright enthused about it- here’s the summing-up paragraph at the end:

In conclusion, we demonstrate that a clear difference between wild RJF and domestic chickens is the composition of their crowing vocalization, and this has a strong genetic component. Wild RJF also exhibit variation in crowing characteristics between different populations, and we have characterized what we believe to be the largest number of wild and wild-caught RJF vocalizations here. By performing a QTL mapping experiment, we find a relatively simple genetic architecture for this trait, and in particular for the duration of the last syllable.
