New breed ‘No crow roosters’

Pics
One thing that's bothering me about the whole concept is why breeding a crowless rooster has not been done before. Roosters crowing has been the source of contention forever; way before city ordinances and HOA rules. People gotta sleep, you know, so a crowless rooster may have been as deisirable in ancient Rome as it is today. With all the modifications that make up the modern chicken, I think that if it was possible to breed the crow out of them then someone would have already done it.
maybe they should breed a dog that doesnt bark. oh thats right even in the city a dog barks and thats ok but not a rooster crowing. so glad i live somewhere that i can hear crowing every morning. i got 13 of them

There's more than one reason to enjoy having a rooster that doesn't crow. And all of them don't stem from living in a non-rural environment. Severely autistic children, for example, may be sensitive to loud noises. I'm sure they would appreciate being able to enjoy the chickens without the startling and often upsetting noises.
