I built a new brooder for all my chicks sense they'll all be One Month on the 16th.
Their old brooders were getting to small and i wanted to separate the RiRs and the
Leghorns. The far Left and Right brooder are 28 inches wide and 3 feet long.
Middle brooder is 30 inches wide and 3 feet long, and the brooder is 3 feet high.
Temp. water bowl for RiRs,until i go to TSC tomorrow. Chicks love it and i do to :)

That's great! Looks like they all love it. =)

They do :) It doesn't use as much shavings as i thought it would. Still have over half the bag and its been used once for the old brooders that were small compared to this new brooder. And a second time in this brooder, which I need to clean already because one of the TSC waterers keeps leaking and i cant fix it. Prolly get two waterers tomorrow sence i have to get one for the RiRs anyway.

That is very nice! So each section is 1 foot by 30"...or did i misread?

Edit: nevermind...just reread it and realized that is huge! Great for your chicks though! Can even use it for broodies down the road

They all just love it. The whole brooder is 90 5/8" long.
i had to make it fit between the incubator table and the shelves on the other side.
Soon i hope to put wheels on the bottom so i can move the brooder around.
I might make a few more brooders for future breeds or just in case we hatch out too many
chicks of one breed. But all in all im very pleased with the brooder.
