New Brooder in Progress

    I saw a brooder on here a few weeks ago. I think it was Randall's, anyway I'm building one kind of like it. It's gonna have a removable wood bottom with wire under it. The dimensions are 6x3x3, I'm gonna out removable dividers in it too. I'm thinking two or three of them. It will also have a hot water heater thermostat and three 100 watt bulbs. Oh, do you guys think I should stick with the idea of putting lenolium on top of the wood bottom or should I just slide the lenolium over the wire and put my shavings on it. This should hold enough quail.[​IMG]

    I thought about that, but I want to hang a big feeder for chickens and week old quail.
