Hi all! This is by far my favorite resource for pullet/hen info over the last 3 years. Hoping to join in the discussions, questions, wins and losses of the forum. Thanks for having me.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Im still new. Been at this almost 3 years with a small flock that has varied between 5-9.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4 hens and (6) 1 week old pullets
(3) What breeds do you have?
Mystic onyx, spotted Sussex, leghorn, calico princess, and black sex-linked
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The freedom from government reliance.
and I love the fluffy booties, eggs, and personalities.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?Quilting, paddle boarding, reading, PC gamer, collecting fluffy animals, creativity in general, and pew-pews
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
2 teenage kids, married 20years, work part-time and hubby is full time, homeschooled both kids
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I kinda described it above but again, thanks for having me.
