I want them now! Do quail really only live for 2 years?Usually I have heaps of eggs if I eat them but they're tiny!!!
Well no. These quail that the thread is about can live for longer than the other popular ones (Japanese/Coturnix) which can exceed the lifespan of 2 and I’ve heard of some living up to 10! But that’s rare.I want them now! Do quail really only live for 2 years?

I feed mine 30% gamebird/turkey starter. As adults they also get oyster shell. Because they’re so tiny, I put the feed/shell through a sieve to separate out pieces too big for them.OH ok! That what I heard. Do y they eat special feed and do chicks have do get crushed up chicks crumbles?

As treats, they get bird seed and — very occasionally— cut up cooked spaghetti noodles so the boys can gift them to their mates. I think with these I might try spaghetti squash too.
