Thanks. I have heard that they will have to re-establish the pecking order with each introduction of new chickens. My husband wanted to get another Bantam this weekend but the little ones really have to put up with a lot of bullying and I didn't have the heart.

I didn't mean to discourage you, you may have great luck and no problems. I have just heard a lot of people having problems with fighting and such because they have introduced a new hen. Some people have added new hens at night and never had an issue. I just mentioned it as something you need to be prepared for.

I have had reasonable success following the advice on introducing new chickens to a flock found on BYC. About 90% success.
