Skye's first egg has hatched-black or blue, can't tell yet. The other has a small pip. Several others that are pipped are making their break for it, but I'm still waiting on one BR and one Ameraucana to pip.

Wow, looks like this is going to be a very good hatch for you. Congrats.

I realized last night, that if I have a good hatch, I'm going to have a hard time finding brooding room for all these fluffy butts. I have 50 pullets coming early feb, plus 34 eggs in that bator due to hatch on the 24th. I have to keep them seperate, because I have pullets coming in, with buffs, and barreds and I have those in the bator too, that will be straight run. I better get some of the brooders I bought working, so I can "test" them

My hubby didn't know either until the electricity went out and I had to bring all the new babies up from the basement to keep warm by the wood stove!!!!
