New BYC member, and soon to be new chicken owner

Hi everyone, my name is Cyndi and I will be getting our chicks by May 23 or 24! I am so excited we ordered 12 buff orpintons. Our coop is just about built and still have to do the run, plus they will be able to free range some. I have been reading everything I can about organic, herbal etc, taking care of the girls. Would love to hear any advice, things that work for others and stuff!
