Hi everybody!

My husband and I wanted to get two ducklings for our daughters. I just couldn't find any around here. I got to searching on the internet for ducklings and would often end up on BYC. After a few weeks of reading posts on here, I decided to build an incubator and hatch my own ducklings. My incubator is running great I ordered eggs from Metzer Farms this past Friday. (I love their site!) We're now in the process of building an enclosure for the ducks.

I can't wait for the eggs to arrive!

I don't know how I'm ever going to make it through the incubation period!!!

I'd like to thank everybody for all the very, very helpful information that I've found on BYC. I really have learned a lot here! (and still am)

Welcome to BYC! Glad you could join us and congratulations on deciding to hatch your own. I hatched one of mine and bought the other from a private breeder. I love my ducks. They are work, but they are so much fun and will bring so much pleasure to your family.
