These are the pair of Call ducks that I just bought. I'm guessing that they're basically mutts since I can't find any pictures of ones with their coloring. The poor drake is missing an eye. I decided to name them Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm. Has anyone seen any this color?

The one in front looks like a blue fawn duck and the one in back looks like it might be a snowy drake molting into nuptial plumage.

Aww, poor Bam-bam! Did the person you bought them from tell you how he lost his eye?

No, I somehow didn't even notice it until I got him home. I probably still would've gotten him if I had though just to rescue him from someone who wouldn't take care of him.

Aw, bless. I agree, I'd open my home to all rescue ducks if I could! I hope your lil' cyclops gets nice and spoiled by you :p

So far neither one of them seems very fond of me, but they sure are cute little boogers.

They'll be fine with you, Heather. They just need some time. You said you just got them, so they're still getting used to you and their new surroundings. Ducks don't like change, and the ones you got aren't babies that could adapt more quickly. Just be the great duck mom I know you're going to be and they'll warm up to you in no time.

Thanks! :) I raised my two Cresteds from the time they were ducklings and handled them every day, but they still aren't too fond of being handled. They'll come right up to me as long as I don't touch them. It was my first time raising ducks so they only got handled during they're daily baths because I didn't want to over handle them. Next time I raise ducklings, I'm spoiling them.
