Is the vaccine they use effective?
Out of the body, how long does the virus live?

Yeah for years.
Government delivers vaccines for free of cost. It's for the first time this deadliest virus hits my flock in 8 years, lost 5 out of 17 juveniles 0 out of 11 adults yet, and expects no further loss.
Yes the vaccines are effective if cared properly, vaccine must be stored at minus temperature. Sometimes improper handling causes the vaccine ineffective.
Out of body the virus remains live for about a month, as far as I know.
