Well, I for one think them there ugly things are cute! Its funny, cuz they do have a that look of freakishness to them. LOL, but as PP said, they really do have the softest pelt I have ever felt. I feed a possum every winter up on my deck. And only during the snow months. Its kinda like the turkeys... They only come out of the woods looking for food when the snow is on the ground. I waste money on corn for them. SOOOO BAD. I feed the possum stale bread, crutons, veggies... pizza crusts... I used to have a possum when I lived in town that lived in my arborvitea and would come and eat with the cats that I fed... right at the same time. Didnt bug the cats, the cats didn't bug it.

NOW, if I find that little beady eyed bad attitude animal going after my girls this winter... Different story. It won't be named squishy... More like pancake.
