New Cat? Showed Up This Morning. What Breed is it?

We've never had a problem with possums bothering the chickens. The chickens are always locked in the coop at night and it's very well built. Around here, I've only seen them in the yard at night. Usually only on cold nights, under the bird feeders. Maybe a couple of times a year. I see prints in the snow sometimes. It's about like the racoons.

Usually they just amble back up into the woods, here. I would be careful if you corner one, though, like most animals.

Locked up chickens have nothing to fear from Mr. Possum or Mr. Raccoon.

I think they are unusual looking enough to be considered cute.
