We'll have to put a lock on our coop... our cat can undo latches. Your chicks are so cute... not to mention the kids!!!

I am amaized at how fast they start to get feathers...especially the leghorns! Some are getting tail feathers and almost all of them have wing feathers, some more than others!

Just a side note I would never leave the cat unattended with the chicks and we keep a very close eye on the chicks, kids and cat.

I agree. If they are "extras" they are probly roo's. which means you will have some very beautiful boys when they get bigger. Talky too, if my Humphrey is the "norm"

Thats just the thing they are not extras. Thats why we were confused! They are super cute though!!!​
