Hi all,
Just brought home some chicks from a local store. All were labeled pullets, but I’m confident a little mislabeled perhaps! No worries, just curious what y’all think.

The dark chicks were labeled “Easter Egger Pullets”, although I’m pretty sure they’re Brown Leghorns

The lighter red/brown chicks were labeled “ISA Brown Pullets”

The light yellow, well I just can’t remembered what the label said!

Any ideas?

Thanks so much,
Tyler

EEs come in lots of colors and can be a cross from many different breeds. I see a single comb, but this may also be because they are a cross from legbars, I think only time will tell.
ISA browns are red sexlinks, they look like what they were labeled.
The white/yellow one could be a lot of breeds. White orpington, white rock, etc.

Thanks for the help. Maybe add some new pics here in a couple months?

Updated photos..I’ve had them 4 weeks now…2 brown leghorns, 1 ISA brown, 1 unknown all white? Anybody wanna add their opinions? Thanks!

Cute chicks! 😊Your white one could be a white leghorn or a white rock. When earlobe color comes in it will be easier to tell (leghorns have white and rocks have red). You may not know for sure until she starts laying. Egg color will also help determine breed.

I see Cream Legbar mixes, not brown leghorns, so those might be your “Easter Eggers”. They seem to have crests.
I agree. Easter eggers are just a brown/blue mix. Mine have the Mohawks too🥰 they used cream legbars as the blue egg gene contributors💕
