New Chick from Utah!

I already love BYC. I have been studying up for at least 6 weeks- not sure why I didn't join sooner. We had chickens about 10 years ago, but a mean little dog managed to pick them off when they were free ranging. This time my girls will live in a fortress! We have 7 chicks- and have experienced a bit of chicken math. We started with 6, had one die, went to buy another and had to buy 2. . . so now we have 7!

My wife and I have used chicken math before. We bought four rhode island chicks, had one die... So we replaced the ONE with two Ameraucana chicks
