New "chick" here

Welcome, I lurked until I had my first question. The gracious answers convinced me this was a good place. People ask me questions about the chickens, then say "where did you learn so much about chickens?". The answer is always BYC. I'm sitting here with two week old chicks that I hatched from BYCer eggs and in Miss Prissy"s style incubator.

Pictures... I don't really have any of my current flock, except for one Rhodie hen that I've had for quite a while. I do have pictures of her and of a few of my past girls. I promise I'll get some more pictures of my current flock when they're in their new home and of the chicks when they arrive.

For now... (my chickens have weird names, by the way)

This is "Rozee" the Rhode Island Red

And another one I had but has passed on

This is "Duh" she was a Rhodie cross
